Love that quote – very timely for me at the moment. Am going to read the book too – sounds great.
Thanks so much for your comment. The quote really struck a chord for me too. My son and his wife have recently moved to the States after eight years in Brussels and so far all is going well. Jeanette Winterson wrote a novel many years ago called ‘Oranges are not the only fruit’ which drew heavily on her childhood with her strict pentecostal adoptive parents. Her new book returns to the same material and the title is something her mother said to her – you’ll see why when you read it.
